Red Bull: Flying Bull AR Game
Building on the positive reception of the previous campaign, I had the opportunity to develop an AR mini-game that combines endless runner mechanics with one of Red Bull’s most iconic hallmarks.
The goal of this project was to engage a younger audience with the brand through an interactive Instagram quiz, providing both an entertaining and educational experience. Users were immersed in an underwater world and presented with interesting facts related to the company's mission.
The vibrant artwork from Revo's packaging and marketing materials was used as the foundation for the AR effect. Marine life illustrations were transformed into animated 3D objects, creating an underwater feel that matched the brand’s color scheme. This design choice ensured the effect was recognizable and shareable on social media without overwhelming branding.
Designing AR game mechanics presented challenges due to their reliance on camera-based inputs like head movements. A custom interaction concept, along with unique assets and sounds, was developed to control the user experience effectively. This approach underscores Revo’s commitment to innovation in the food industry and its efforts to engage audiences through modern technology.
