While creatine is naturally produced by the human body, supplementing it in the form of creatine monohydrate can enhance athletic performance, promote muscle growth, and improve recovery times. Some studies suggest that creatine may support cognitive function. The typical maintenance dose is 0.03–0.05 grams per kilogram of body weight.


Initially, I largely overlooked the benefits of creatine because of its association with bodybuilding. In the process of evolving my health and fitness ambitions, I came across various reliable sources highlighting its positive effects on an active lifestyle and potential longevity advantages. After considering possible side effects and interactions, I decided to incorporate a daily dose of 4–5 grams into my health stack in 2022, which has yielded positive results.
