Without a doubt, a great candidate for anybody looking to get into full-frame videography. Initially, I wasn't sure about the ZV-E1 because of its focus towards vloggers and add-ons that felt like gimmicks when you compare it to a "serious" FX3. But sharing the same sensor, this camera is just a different category that still delivers stunning 4k 10-bit footage in a compact package.
Yes, you can still rig it up, but the ZV-E1 really shines in those run-and-gun scenarios. The integrated 3-capsule mic is great, dynamic active stabilization works like a charm, you get a fast AI autofocus, slow-motion and decent low-light capabilities.
If you don't need pro functionality like timecode or double card slot, and you want to shoot with a minimal rig, the ZV-E1 is a big recommendation.
