Conceptualizing an active safety system for the smallest passengers. Inspired by nature, distinguished by design.
The Green Venom concept was created during the 2009 industrial design (ID2) semester at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna.
By reviving features of previous F1 cars combined with the latest breakthroughs in electric technology, we were able to shape a radically new breed of racing machine. The design language is inspired by the sleek lines of a green mamba to match the vehicle’s agile temper. Driven by powerful electric twin motors, the overall package is distinctly reduced in size and weight. Allowing for even more nimble handling characteristics and increased dynamics.
One limiting factor of electric high-performance cars is the lower energy density of current batteries compared to fossil fuels. The Green Venom concept addresses these constraints via hot-swap battery packs. These power units are not only designed for peak energy requirements on the track but are exchangeable during pit stops to maintain the thrilling element of refueling.
Combined, Green Venom's features offer a potential glimpse into a future of exciting high-paced but eco-friendly alternatives to the current Formula One class. An homage to efficiency and performance without forfeiting the spirit of the race.
